Orodreth (Steward)

Orodreth is in J. R. R. Tolkien's fictional universe of Middle-earth the sixteenth Ruling Steward of Gondor.

Orodreth succeeded his father Belecthor I at his death in 2655 T.A. The Corsairs of Umbar were the primary threat to Gondor at the time, although no major events are recorded.

He was followed by his son Ecthelion I at his death in 2685.

There was also a Ñoldorin Elf named Orodreth in the First Age.
