Orace

Orace is the mule companion of Flip the Frog in such early 1930s cartoons as "The Village Specialist", "Spooks", "Fire-Fire" and "The Milkman". Orace is a lazy, foul-mouthed character who is meant to serve Flip as a draft animal, but doesn't always do a very good job of it.

Orace was the creation of Ub Iwerks, who had already created a similar-looking character, the horse Horace Horsecollar, for Walt Disney a couple of years earlier.
