Omagari, Akita
Ōmagari (大曲市; -shi) is a city located in Akita in Tohoku region of Japan.
As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 39,048 and the density of 372.99 persons per km². The total area is 104.69 km².
The city was founded on May 3, 1954.
On March 22, 2005, Omagari ceased to exist in a merger with 6 towns and 1 village in Senboku District, forming the new city of Daisen.
