Old Rag Mountain, or just Old Rag, is a mountain in Madison County, Virginia. The mountain is a popular hiking destination located in Shenandoah National Park. Old Rag is unique in that unlike most mountains of the Blue Ridge, it has an exposed, rocky top. Located within close proximity to the Washington, DC Metro Area makes this peak crowded especially during weekends.
