Okinoshima, Shimane
Okinoshima (隠岐の島町; -chō) is a town located in Shimane, Japan.
Japan claims the disputed Liancourt Rocks, which are currently administered by South Korea, as part of Okinoshima.
As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 17,615. The total area is 242.93 km².
The town was formed from the merger of Fuse, Goka, Saigo and Tsuma on October 1, 2004.
