Renaldo "Obie" Benson

Renaldo "Obie" Benson (born June 14, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan) is an African-American soul and R&B singer and songwriter. He is best known as a member of Motown group The Four Tops, which he joined in 1953 and continues to perform with to this day.
Benson also worked as a part-time songwriter for Motown; his most famous co-composition is Marvin Gaye's 1971 classic "What's Going On".
