OCSW
The OCSW (Objective Crew Served Weapon) is a prototype automatic grenade launcher developed by General Dynamics Armament Systems. As a part of the SAMP (Small Arms Master Plan) program, it has the same laser-guided targetting system as the XM29 OICW, but is intended as a replacement to the 40mm Mk 19 grenade launcher and the .50 M2 machine gun. It can fire armor piercing or explosive 25mm grenades at a cyclic rate of 260 rounds per minute, and has an effective range up to 2 kilometers. The OCSW development is not complete yet, and enter producion or yet been adopted. It has however gone on combat trials.
