Nykvarn Municipality

Nykvarn is a Municipality, located east of Södertälje in Stockholm County, in central Sweden. The municipality covers an area of 152.8 km². Of the total population of 8052, 4098 are male, and 3954 are female. The population density of the community is 53 inhabitants per km².

Nykvarn is a young Municipality, and is the result of the splitting of Södertälje Municipality in the late 90’s.

Nykvarn is located between the two cities Södertälje and Strängnäs, and many citizens of Nykvarn works in one of the two.
