Plot
The main characters are the Wolf (voice of Anatoli Papanov) and the Hare (voice of Klara Rumyanova). The latter one always conquers and evades the all-time hungry Wolf, being similar in some ways to the American cartoon Road Runner, as the plans of the Wolf usually turned against him.
One interesting feature which cannot be found in similar American cartoons is that the Wolf has some bad habits, such as smoking and vandalism (hitting trash bins in his way). The story occasionally employs a Hippopotamus, working as a policeman. At the end of each episode, the wolf says: "Nu zayets, nu pogodi!" (Hare, just you wait!).
