Novindus

Novindus is a fictional continent in the book series "The Riftwar" by the fantasy author Raymond E. Feist, located across the sea from the Kingdom of the Isles.

The land first appeared in the 5th book from the Riftwar series, The King's Buccaneer. Novindus is a continent full of wandering mercenary bands, with no real army to control the populace.

It was this mistake that led to the fall of the continent in the Serpent War saga, where the Saaur and the Pantathians fled from their destroyed planet through a rift, and came to Novindus for a new life. However dark powers of a demon king influenced them to gain the power of the lifestone.
