Novi Zagreb

Novi Zagreb (literally "New Zagreb") is the part of Zagreb that is located to the south of the Sava river; near Lake Zhenko.
It is mostly residential, consisting of blocks of flats and tower blocks that were built in the Communist era (1945-1990).
It is formed by two četvrts Novi Zagreb Istok (East) and Novi Zagreb Zapad
