Nosaltres els valencians

Nosaltres els valencians is a historical and political essay published in 1962 written by Joan Fuster i Ortells (1922–1992).

The book was the first intellectual effort in the twentieth century to construct an overview of the past and the present of the people living between Morella and Elx. The book contains a series of suggestive points on their present and identity of Valencians (and the whole Catalan-speaking community).

Nosaltres els valencians started a rebirth of national consciousness among the Valencian people. It provoked strong reactions from Spanish nationalists (the so-called "blaveros") living in the area, and from the Francoist bureaucrats in Valencia and Madrid, which took place in the first years of Spain's transition to democracy after Franco's death.
