NorandaFalconbridge
NorandaFalconbridge is a Canadian mining company created as the result of a merger between Noranda and Falconbridge. Noranda had previously owned only 58.8% of Falconbridge before the takeover. The resulting merger creates one of the largest base metal mining companies in the world with a market value worth $14 billion.
