Non-Inscrits

Non-Inscrits (English: Non-Attached; the English name is also official, but the French name is prevalent even in English texts) are Members of the European Parliament who do not sit in one of the political groups. Many (but not all) of these parliamentarians are from the extreme right. They are not described as independents, because they are attached to national party groups.

Political parties which have MEPs which are non-attached:

Some of the MEPs of Samoobrona (Self-Defense of the Polish Republic) are also non-attached, but the party does not belong to the far-right spectrum, it is rather defensive of foreign influence and very socialistic in its program. Two of the MEPs of this party, Bogdan Golik (animal doctor and business advisor) and Wiesław Kuc (economist and agriculture expert) have even joined a group the Polish delegation of the Socialist group on 2004–12–01. Robert Kilroy-Silk and Ashley Mote, elected as members of the United Kingdom Independence Party, also are also non-attached.
