Nokia 6810

The Nokia 6810 is the successor of the Nokia 6800 and was announced at the same time as the Nokia 6820 however it was released several months after the 6820. The phone is mainly aimed at business customers and is rarely stocked in shops. The main reason for this is the unexpected demand for the 6820 because it is smaller, lighter and has a built in camera, the only disadvantage of the 6820 is that it has no built-in FM radio. The design of the 6800 and 6810 are exactly the same except the 6810 is gold and silver in colour.

The main improvements over the 6800 are:

  • GSM1900 band (however there is a Nokia 6800 with GSM 800 and 1900 bands.)
  • Bluetooth
  • EDGE
  • Improved ringtone & MMS support
  • Support for OMA IMPS (Instant messaging/presence)
  • BlackBerry Email client
