Niokolo-Koba National Park
The Niokolo-Koba National Park lies in south eastern Senegal against the Guinean border. It has an area of over 8,000km² and is a World Heritage Site.
The River Gambia flows through the national park, which is known for its wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, chimpanzees, baboons, hippopotamuses and the Western giant eland.
