Nine Mile Point Nuclear Generating Station

Nine Mile Point 1 and 2 are sited near Oswego, New York. The 900 acre (3.6 km²) site is also occupied by the Fitzpatrick nuclear plant. Nine Mile Point 1 is one of the Nation's two oldest reactors still in service (it is mentioned in the unique reactors feature elsewhere on this site).

Nine Mile Point is operated by Constellation Nuclear. Unit 1 is owned entirely by Constellation Energy Group which shares ownership of unit 2 with the Long Island Power Authority (18 %, LIPA, 82 %, Contellation).
