Nimbus III

Nimbus III is a planet from the fictional Star Trek universe that debuted on-screen in the 1989 science fiction film Star Trek V: The Final Frontier.

Also known by the late 23rd century as the "Planet of Galactic Peace," it was claimed in the Federation-Klingon Neutral zone as a site for negotiations. Outside the planet's main – and apparently only – city, Nimbus City, settlers who were forbidden to have weapons had created their own in an attempt to survive in the desert. In AD 2289, Spock's half-brother Sybok recruited many of these desert dwellers into his Galactic Army of Light and took Federation, Klingon, and Romulan representatives hostage.
