Nikolai Rezanov
Nikolai Petrovich Rezanov was the head of Russian expedition to Alaska.
He fell in love with Concepcion Arguello, daughter of California governor. On his trip back to Czar to ask permission to marry her he fell from the horse back, became seek and died in Siberia.
He is buried in the city of Krasnoyarsk.
