Niikappu, Hokkaido

Niikappu (新冠町; -chou) is a town located in Niikappu District, Hidaka, Hokkaido, Japan.

As of 2004, the town has an estimated population of 6,136 and a density of 10.47 persons per km². The total area is 585.88 km².

The town is mainly known for production of racehorses. It also has a large collection of records.
