Nightbeat (Transformers)

Nightbeat is an Autobot Headmaster in the Transformers toyline.

Nightbeat transforms into a blue Porsche 911. He is a private detective, described as a tough, street-hardened detective who is not above resorting to dirty tricks in order to further his investigations. His motto is "Truth is revealed in the smallest detail."

In the Marvel Transformers comics, Nightbeat used his detective skills during the Matrix Quest, in order to find a missing legendary bird icon in the middle of a gang war between rival criminal bosses Gutt and B'ghdad.

Being the only canonical Transformer private detective, Nightbeat is also a popular character in Transformers fan fiction.

Nightbeat is binary-bonded to a Nebulan private detective called Muzzle.

In Japan, Nightbeat was renamed to Minerva, and was recoloured into an ambulance.
