Nicholas Scutari

Sen. Nicholas Scutari
Nicholas P. Scutari (born November 18, 1968) has been a New Jersey State Senator since 2004. Before his election the Senate, Scutari was a member of the Union County Board of Freeholders, where he became the youngest Chairman in county history. He was nominated for the Senate after the announcment of Senator Joseph Suliga that he would be not seek re-election after a drunken casino incident in Atlantic City.

Senator Scutari is the current Vice Chairman of the Senate State Government Committee, and the Senate Education Committee. He also serves as a member of the Judiciary Committee, and is on the 4-member panel of the New Jersey Clean Elections Commission.
