Nice Work

Nice Work (published in 1988) is a book by David Lodge which was also made into a television series. It is an unlikely love story between a vaguely feminist university teacher (inspired by Lodge's work lecturing at the University of Birmingham) specialising in industrial novels with an industrial manager. The plot is a typical industrial novel plot by itself.
