Niagara (1953)
1953 Technicolor film noir motion picture directed by Henry Hathaway. The film stars Marilyn Monroe as Rose Loomis, Joseph Cotten as George Loomis, Jean Peters as Polly Cutler and Max Showalter ( credited as Casey Adams) playing Polly's husband Ray Cutler.

Most of this 20th Century Fox film was shot at Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. Jean Peters got the role of Polly Cutler after Anne Baxter withdrew. 92 minutes long. Not rated.

Plot

On their second honeymoon, Peters and Showalter arrive at their Niagara cottage and meet another couple, Cotten and Monroe. Monroe, from the beginning, confides about her husband being considerably older than she. George is always depressed and may have just been released from a mental hospital. Peters later sees Monroe kissing a young man, played by Richard Allan, and learns that the couple are in on a murder scheme with George as the victim.
