New South Wales Cricket Association
The New South Wales Cricket Association (NSWCA) is a sporting club who administer cricket in New South Wales and particularly the Sydney Cricket Ground.
Established in 1859, the first secretary of the club was Richard Driver. It was established to respond to a challenge to an Intercolonial match put out by the Melbourne Cricket Club with a prize of 500 pounds. The NSWCA team won that match.
Today, the New South Wales Blues are part of the Association.
