Nelson Angelo Piquet
Nelson Angelo Piquet, also Nelson Piquet Junior, is a race car driver born in Heidelberg, Brazil on the 25th of July 1985. He is the son of former Formula One world champion Nelson Piquet, who is one of Brazil's most successful F1 drivers of all time. In 2005 he will race in the inaugurual GP2 Series season.

Piquet's racing career started in 1993 in karting, where he would stay until 2001 when he moved to South American Formula Three. With the wealth of his father he was able to race for his own team, a habit he continues to repeat until the present day. He raced in part of the 2001 season there, staying for 2002 and becoming the champion. In 2002 he also raced one race of Brazilian Formula Renault.

He moved on to British Formula Three in 2003, where he would spend two seasons, winning the title in his last. He also competed in the 2004 Porsche Supercup, albeit only in one race. He has tested a Formula One car already, despite only being 19, and is tipped to follow in his fathers footsteps. Some label him as the next Schumacher.
