Naubakht
Nobakht Ahvazi (also spelled Naubakht in many a literature) and his sons were astronomers from Ahvaz in Persia.
They are particularly famous for having helped design the city of Baghdad (see sources below). Originally Zoroastrians, they were among the best Pahlavi translators of the Abbasid court.
