Natural England

Natural England is the name of the new UK Government agency made up of parts of the Countryside Agency, English Nature and the Rural Development Service.

The new agency will be responsible for the delivery of the biodiversity aspects of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Public Service Agreements (e.g. Reversing the long-term decline in the number of farmland birds by 2020, as measured annually against underlying trends).
