Narre Warren South, Victoria

Narre Warren South is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Its Local Government Area is the City of Casey. As of April, 2005 the area is one of the fastest growing areas within the state of Victoria.

History

Development within Narre Warren is very recent with most houses being built after the Year 2000. Before this time the area was predominantly orchards.

Education

Narre Warren South P-12 College, a school which caters for students from Prep till Year 12, is one of the largest in the state with nearly 2000 students enrolled and more than 150 staff members currently being employed.

Retail

There are two main shopping areas for residents in the area, the first "Casey Arc" is on the Narre Warren – Cranbourne highway the other is the shopping centre next to Narre Warren South P12 college on Ormond Road.
