Naresuan University
The Naresuan University is a university in Phitsanulok, northern Thailand. It was founded on July 29 1990, which was the 400th anniversary of the naming patron, King Naresuan the Great. The university has about 20,000 students.
History
On January 18, 1964, the Ministry of Education resolved to create an offshot of the College of Education for the teacher's education upcountry. January 25, 1967 the Phitsanulok campus as the forth campus of the College of Education was established. In 1974 the College of Education was granted university status and became the Srinakharinwirot University. 1990 the Phitsanulok campus became a separate university.
