Profile

Nancy as Fallen Angel

Career

Nancy Daus started in wrestling as Fallen Angel in 1985 for Florida Championship Wrestling. She was married to Kevin Sullivan and was a member of his "Satanic Cult" group of heels that feuded with Dusty Rhodes. Nancy wore bikinis and lingerie and painted her face with strange designs.

Nancy and Sullivan also used this gimmick in ICW & Southwest Championship Wrestling.

In 1989, Nancy appeared in the NWA's Jim Crockett Promotions as Robin Green, Rick Steiner's biggest fan who would sit at ringside during his matches. She eventually got Rick to let her be at ringside with Missy Hyatt during a match with brother Scott against the Fabulous Freebirds, Michael Hayes and Jimmy Garvin. Nancy caused the Steiners to lose the match and she soon left Rick to manage the masked team of "Doom", Ron Simmons and Butch Reed. She also changed her name to Woman. Doom feuded with the Steiners as they wanted revenge. Woman had acquired a bodyguard called Nitron, and he protected her from them.

In 1990, Ric Flair and his Four Horsemen soon caught her eye and she dumped Nitron and Doom to manager Flair. She interfered in his matches and helped him to keep his NWA World Title. She left the NWA by mid-1990.

She rejoined Sullivan in ICCW and by 1992, they were in Smoky Mountain Wrestling where she was called Devil Woman.

In 1993, she went to ECW with Sullivan as Woman wher she managed Sullivan and Tasmaniac to the Tag Team Titles. She went on to manage Sandman and 2 Cold Scorpio when Sullivan went back to WCW. She would light Sandman's cigarettes for him and open his beer. She also wielded a mean kendo stick.

In 1995, Sandman and Scorpio kicked her out of ECW and she resurfaced in WCW. She first appeared as one of many women who would stand in the aisle and wave as Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage came to the ring. She then stayed at ringside. It was no time before she turned on Savage and rejoined Flair, Arn Anderson and Chris Benoit in the Four Horsemen.

In 1996, when the Horsemen added Steve McMichael and his wife Debra, Woman started bickering with Debra. She also started an on-screen relationship with Benoit and rubbed it in Sullivan's face. The bad thing was that the on-screen affair was a reality off-screen as well. This caused a violent feud between Benoit and Sullivan that saw Woman fight Sullivan's valet Jacqueline at ringside. During one match, the women were strapped to each other and used the strap on the men too!

In 1997, Sullivan and Nancy were divorced and he lost a retirement match to Benoit so he could focus on booking. In this role, Sullivan caused Nancy to quit wrestling when she refused to be topless in an angle Sullivan created for a PPV.

Nancy and Benoit got married in 1997.
