Nagaraj

Nagaraj or Nagraj is a common Indian surname, literally meaning King ("-raj") of Snakes ("nag-").

It commonly refers to a Multi-Headed Snake, seen protecting Hindu God idols in temples.

A very famous Nagraj, was the one which protected Lord Krishna, from the rain, when he was rescued from the prison he was born into.

Nagraj – Comic book hero

Nagraj is also a famous Indian comic book character from Raj Comics. There is now a television series of the same name based on this character.

Nagraj is an indian comic book character created by Raj comics and is considered to be their flagship character. Created in the late 1980's, Nagraj was originally concieved as an enemy of international terrorism(remarkable because the term came into widespread use only recently) who travelled all over the globe fighting 'terrorists.'

Based largely on the indian myth of the shape shifting snake, Nagraj derives most of his powers from microscopic snakes that live in his bloodstream(in lieu of white blood cells) and has a number of powers like superhuman strength, poisonous breath and bite, and of course, snakes who come out of his wrists.
