Naga (Monster Rancher)
A Naga is a fictional creature from the Monster Rancher anime and video game franchise.
They were first introduced in Monster Rancher, and were obtainable at the begining of the game. They have continued to appear in every Monster Rancher game.
They are humanoid serphents with stingers on their tails. They are known for being violent and vicious. They have a variety of attacks, using poisonous fangs and the like. They are based on the mythological Nagas and take their name from them.

- Naga (Naga/Naga) or (Naga/Kalaragi) Most violent of the monsters.He lives for battles. This one's cruel fighting style horrifies other monsters. Although they say this is the most ferocious monster of all, it is actually quite careless. It often fails to catch its prey. The feisty blood that runs through its veins is always looking for a battle, and it'll do absolutely anything to win. It looks like a battle cyborg.

- Ceto (Naga/Henger) The Ceto is a strong, fast machine. It's programmed to know all of the Naga's maneuvers, but that program is broken so you'll have to start from scratch.

- HakTak (Naga/Ripper) The HakTak has a Naga's temperament and a Ripper's aloofness. It can see right into itys opponent's soul. It's hard to raise but it can be a reliable partner.

- Viper (Naga/Zuum) or (Naga/Morx) It always holds its tongue out to cool its body tempature. It claims to be a vegetarian, but, as is the case with humans, that doesn't mean it's true. This monster can change the color of its body to blend in with its surroundings. Out of all the monsters, this one's the best hunter. Also Called: Stinger
- Ryozan (Naga/Brilla) Sometimes this monster starts hibernating before the winter comes, which is why many Breeders have given up on this monster.
- Merman (Naga/Goat) With the gills on its breast, it can breathe underwater. The monster sees itself as a mermaid, but others have trouble with that idea.
- Aspis (Naga/Takrama) As the deadly colors on its skin show, it has poisonous fangs, claws, and tail. They say it cannot help dancing when it hears a flue melody.
- Anguish (Naga/???) A spoiled brat who seems to care more about other things.
- Blobster (Naga/???) A vicious monster with scorpion poison strong enough to lay even the great Baku low. Its powerful scorpion claws make a can opener unnecessary.
