Nadira Naipaul

Lady Nadira Naipaul is the wife of Nobel prize-winning novelist Sir Vidia Naipaul. She was born Nadira Alvi in Pakistan and was raised in Kenya. She worked as a journalist for Pakistani newspaper The Nation for ten years before meeting her husband. They were married in 1996, two months after the death of Sir Vidia's first wife.
