Nackasändaren
Nackasändaren is a facility for FM and TV-transmission at Nacka in Metropolitan Stockholm. It used from 1956 to 1983 two 160 metre high guyed masts, which were designed as mast antennas for medium-wave and therefore insulated against ground. In 1965 one of the masts were replaced by a 299 metre high guyed steel framework grounded mast for FM and TV-transmissions. After termination of the AM transmissions, which occurred until 1978 on 772 kHz and after 1978 on 773 kHz on June 1st, 1981, the old mast was demolished on December 7th, 1983 and replaced in 1984 by a 299 metre high steel framework masts for FM- and TV-transmission.
