NO2ID

The NO2ID coalition was formed in 2004 to campaign against the United Kingdom government's plans to introduce UK ID Cards and the associated National Identity Register.

NO2ID arose initially from various email discussion groups but is now an entity in its own right. Supporters include many British political parties as well as civil liberties groups such as Liberty and Privacy International.

NO2ID is a UK wide organisation. It is also setting up regional groups across the UK, one of the first being NO2ID Scotland.
