Mr. Fusion

Mr. Fusion is the name of a fictional power source used by the DeLorean time machine in the Back to the Future trilogy. The full name is the Mr. Fusion Home Energy Converter, and it converted garbage to fuel to power using nuclear fusion for the time circuits and the flying circuits. It was purchased by Doc Brown in 2015 while a hover conversion was being done on the car.

Trivia

For the movies, Mr. Fusion was made from a Krups coffee grinder. Its name is a parody of the Mr. Coffee home coffee machine.
