The Muslim Democratic Party or MDP (Dutch: Moslim Democratische Partij) is a political party in Belgium which was formed in 2003, as a result of the poor showing of the alliance party RESIST between the leftist PVDA party and the AEL (Arab European League) during the elections of 2003. The party was founded by Dyab Abou Jahjah. The first elections in which the MDP participated was the Regional Election of 13 June 2004. The party fielded candidates in the provinces of East Flanders and Antwerp.
