MOS Burger

(Redirected from Mos Burger)

MOS Burger is a fast-food restaurant chain originated in Japan. It is now the largest fast-food franchise in Japan except for the McDonald's, and owns numerous overseas outlets over East Asia, including Mainland China, Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore, and Hawaii. It is also the name of the standard hamburger offered by the restaurant, being its first product when the restaurant was founded on 1972.

MOS Burger offers a unique dining atmosphere and a wide variety of fast-foods with Eastern relish. The restaurant is particular about its interior decoration, notably the toilets. Beverages are served in transparent glasses instead of paperboard cups. Most of the products listed upon its menu, including hamburgers and french fries, are instantly made with fresh food materials after the customer has ordered, thus results in its high-price delicacies and its nickname "slow-food restaurant". The quality service, however, is the restaurant's highlighting feature which distincts MOS Burger from most of the trade. Rice burger, one of the special cuisines presented by MOS, is a kind of sandwich with flat buns of baked rice instead of normal buns. Special new seasonal burgers are also available every few months.

The name MOS stands for Mountains, Ocean, and Sun.
