Morpeth Dock

The Morpeth Dock, is a dock at Birkenhead,United Kingdom. It was built between 1844-1847. It connects directly to the Mersey via locks and to the Great Float via Egerton Dock inland.

It was used by GWR as the Birkenhead end of cross river traffic to Manchester Dock.

It is named after Lord Morpeth, the 7th Earl of Carlisle he was Chief Commissioner of Woods and Forests.
