Mon Chéri® is an internationally known brand name of the Ferrero company for a chocolate confectionery.
The Mon Chéri is a single-wrapped, praline-sized combination, consisting of a "heart" of carefully selected cherry, floating in a special liquor and contained in a plain chocolate housing.
To ensure stable product quality, it is marketed only during the colder months of the year (usually September through May).
Mon Chéri was the first major product with which the company's German subsidiary in Stadtallendorf (near Marburg) became successful after their start in 1956.
This special kind of sweets has been popular with cinema-goers (sold during performance breaks) as well as a gift at holiday festivities or parties.
