Mok

Mok (莫) is pronounced Mo with the 4th tone in Mandarin. In cantonese, 莫 is pronounced Mok with the 6th tone. The Mok (莫) name is a relatively rare surname among the Chinese. It appears as the 168th surname in the Bia Jia Xing(百家姓). In 2004, there were and estimated 73,000 people with the surname of Mok abroad and 15,400,000 Moks in China.
