Moi, Norway
Moi is the administrative centre of Lund municipality in the county of Rogaland in Norway. Moi has a population of about 2000. The largest employer in Moi is NorDan, the biggest window factory in northern Europe. After the Industrial Revolution, Moi developed a relatively large timber industry. Today Moi has got the only active clog factory of Norway, and Bjøllefabrikken a bell manufacturer which was the official supplier of small bells to the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics 2002.
Moi lies next to Lundevannet, one of the deepest lakes in Norway. The little town is surrounded by beautiful nature, and the slogan of the mayor is "Vakre Lund" ("The Beautiful Lund").
