Mog is a playable character from the Squaresoft game Final Fantasy VI. He (assuming Mog is male) is a moogle and is first encountered near his home in the Narshe mines. Mog joins the party after being rescued from the thief Lone Wolf.
Mog wields a spear.
He was featured in an early magazine advertisement in which on one page, the reader saw a group of large, scary looking monsters preparing to attack the little cat-like creature with the words "It doesn't seem fair, does it?." After flipping the page, the reader then saw a photo where Mog was unchanged but the group of monsters had been turned into mush, with the caption "Who said life was fair?" along with the game's logo.
Mog was born on May 11th, making him a Taurus.
Dance Skill
Mog's Dance skill changes the environment of the battle and randomly invokes one of four skills. After successfully starting a dance, Mog will carry on dancing until he is KO'd or the battle ends. Dance skills are learned after winning a battle in the appropriate environment.
The dances are:
- Wind Song (Cockatrice, Plasma, Sun Bath, Wind Slash)
- Forest Suite (Elf Fire, Rage, Harvester, Wombat)
- Desert Aria (Antlion, Kitty, Sand Storm, Wind Slash)
- Love Sonata (Elf Fire, Snare, Specter, Tapir)
- Earth Blues (Land Slide, Sonic Boom, Sun Bath, Whump)
- Water Rondo (El Nino, Plasma, Specter, Wild Bear)
- Dusk Requiem (Cave In, Elf Fire, Poison Frog, Snare)
- Snowman Jazz (Ice Rabbit, Snare, Snowball, Surge)
NOTE: The "Water Rondo" Dance can ONLY be learned in the World of Balance.
