OZ-06MS Leo

The Leo is a mobile suit used by the Earth Alliance and the Elite Special taskforce. The Leo is a relatively weak unit, not being a match for a Gundam, but they are usually deployed in overwhelming numbers.

Although being a weak unit, the Leo is highly adaptable. Variations such as a space version, a version designed for short flight and high mobility, and units fitted with shoulder cannons for extra firepower.

The Leo is typically armed with a light 105mm Automatic Rifle, with secondary weapons consisting of a heavy 36cm bazooka for anti-armour duties or where increased firepower is needed. In some situations, the Leo has been equipped with a powerful 'Dober Gun' somewhat similar to the early Tallgeese, which fires an armor-piercing 120mm shell.
