Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co., Ltd. (三井住友海上火災保険株式会社,MITSUI SUMITOMO KAIJO KASAI HOKEN KABUSHIKI KAISHA) is a Japanese insurance company. It is a member of the Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group.
History
The company was formed in 2000 as a result of the equal-partner merger of The Sumitomo Marine & Fire Insurance Co., Ltd. and Mitsui Marine & Fire Insurance Co., Ltd.
