Military history of the Confederate States
The Military history of the Confederate States spans the period of when the Confederate States of America existed. The Confederacy included the states of Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, and Arkansas. The country existed during a part of the 19th century. Its first and only president was Jefferson Davis. It was formed in Feb 4, 1861 and was dissolved in April 9, 1865 after the American Civil War.
