Middleton, Milton Keynes

Middleton is the current name of the village around which the new town of Milton Keynes was developed. Middleton is also known by the name Milton Keynes Village. Its old name, at the time the new town was constructed, was Milton Keynes. On old maps published in the 1700s, the village is recorded as Middleton Keynes.
