Men at Arms is the 15th Discworld novel by Terry Pratchett.
Synopsis: Captain Samuel Vimes, commander of the Ankh-Morpork city watch, is confronted by new problems. Just having been married to Sybil Ramkin, he returns from retirement to lead the Watch again. The Watch meanwhile added a couple of outsiders to the team. Trolls and dwarves, both fighting each others for centuries. With the help of Corporal Carrot he is up to find the person behind a series of homicides. Somewhere else in the city, Edward, the 37th Lord d'Eath, discovered that the city in fact has a remaining descendant of the old king's blood line and therefore a sovereign ruler. Now he just has to convince this person...
