Memory Alpha (Star Trek)

In the Star Trek universe, Memory Alpha was a repository for the collected cultural, literary, and historical knowledge of every member of the United Federation of Planets.

In 2269, Memory Alpha was attacked by a group of noncorporeal life-forms known as the Zetarians. In their search for a compatible humanoid body to host their consciousnesses, they caused the deaths of every librarian and researcher on Memory Alpha and severe damage to the library's main database.
